Tea really does feel good when you have a little cold.
The "hurry up" part really is completely different from the "wait" part, and I can't say I particularly like either, although strangely, I am relieved by the transition from one to the other, every time.
Sometimes the old songs really are the best songs. Buying a CD of something you virtually wore out on tape when you were 15 is a really good idea, especially since a lot of those are available used for like $1.99.
It's virtually impossible to get the people in the Macy Woman department to pick up the phone and they probably don't have that jacket anyway even though their computer says they do.
One makes and decorates very macabre Christmas cookies after watching the movie "Apocalypto." Seriously. One of my cookies got impaled by a helicopter blade. Another was holding its head under its arm. Another had its arm ripped off in a gay-bashing incident due to its pink frosting. See? I even made up backstories for them. I blame it on Mel.
So without any further ado, my review of Apocalypto (I was fortunate enough to be invited to a free screening with a Q&A with some of the below the line filmmakers afterward, which was a wonderful opportunity):
Apocalypto in 25 words or less: A fantastic chase movie, marred by beyond-gratuitous gore, and a smidgy long. Answer? Trim some gore. (Without trimming violence.) Sound mix/effects notably great. B+.
