25-word reviews, youth edition

For some reason, the last two movies I've seen have been aimed at a youth market, or at least relatively so. The first I watched on my own on a business trip. The second I watched while hanging out with a friend and her almost-3-year-old daughter. To its credit, it held the attention of the almost-3-year-old for almost an hour before she needed to be corraled into the hug-zone to stay still.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in 25 words or less:
Heavier-handed than I recall from the book, and a little draggy, but redeemed by set dec, costumes, and the genuineness of Georgie Henley (Lucy). B-.

Flushed Away in 25 words or less:
I had heard that the slugs steal this movie. That's true (oddly), but it's also full of thoughtfully funny details, and a heartwarming story. B+.
